“Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.” ― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
I recently finished graduate school, to both my delight and dismay. I held my degree in my hands, so proud of how hard I worked. But my desire to learn remained as strong as ever.
I like birthdays. A LOT. Mine, yours, doesn’t matter. I like the excuse to eat doughnuts with sprinkles, if I want. I like the candles and the cards. I like purchasing gifts and wrapping them with brown paper and tying them with ribbons and bows.
I have a complicated job. I am a residence director (RD) at a college. I live on campus. In a residence hall. As an adult.
